Miso Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c (1 stick) butter

  • 1 c brown sugar

  • 3 Tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1/3 c miso paste

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 c flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 c chocolate chips (to taste)

Instructions:

  • Beat together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar together in a bowl

  • Add egg, miso and vanilla extract and blend together well

  • Incorporate flour and baking soda, then add in chocolate chips

  • Cover mixture and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

  • Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes
